We’re proud to announce that Just A Clock Collector is now an authorized Howard Miller dealer, joining one of America’s most recognized clock brands as it begins a new chapter.

For me, this is especially meaningful. As a collector, I appreciate the place Howard Miller holds in so many homes. A familiar chime, a clock given as a wedding gift, or a timepiece passed down through the family can carry years of memories. It’s a name many of us grew up with.

When Howard Miller announced plans to wind down operations in July 2025, it was difficult news for everyone who appreciates that history. Founded in Zeeland, Michigan, in 1926, the company was approaching its hundredth anniversary.

Thankfully, the story continued. In May 2026, Howard Miller announced its relaunch under new West Michigan ownership, with experienced company leaders returning and members of the Miller family remaining involved as advisors. The brand is rebuilding its selection and ramping up new and updated collections.

An exciting part of that return is the renewed focus on premium quartz clocks. Howard Miller’s new direction brings familiar designs together with the convenience of battery-powered timekeeping, with quartz models central to the revived business.

For customers, that means the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful clock with straightforward everyday operation. A thoughtfully chosen quartz clock can bring warmth to a mantel, character to an office, or a focal point to a living room, without a winding routine. Whether your taste is traditional or contemporary, there is plenty to look forward to as the range grows.
