They are UL Listed for Damp Locations (i.e. a bathroom)
The arms and fittings are solid brass with a high quality plated finish the same as marine hardware
The wall thickness of the arms is 50% heavier than most other mirrors
The mirror is high quality optical glass 50% thicker than many of the imports
The arm joints are assembled with silver solder not lead/tin plumbing solder
The switch is double insulated for safety, located on the mirror body for convenience and features a rocker action for ease of use by persons with limited dexterity
In the event of defect or damage virtually all components are repairable or replaceable - on some competitive mirrors a broken glass means you have to replace the whole mirror
