Smith & Hawken was founded over three decades ago to import the hand-forged English forks and spades that were essential for natural gardening. While much has changed (we now have more than 60 stores and offer furniture, plants, clothing, containers, ornament, books, and more), there is much that has stayed the same. Smith & Hawken is still a company of gardeners, using our expertise to help our customers affirm a real connection to their surroundings in an environmentally responsible way.
